I'm a born and raised Floridian with over a decade of experience in the environmental field.  My love for the outdoors blossomed while growing up in Key Largo, but my passion for South Florida's unique ecology began at Florida International University, where I studied chemistry, environmental science and engineering. My first butterfly garden was for my daughter, and I have been building gardens utilizing native plants ever since.  I love to connect people with their local ecology!

My analytical background provides a unique frame of reference for my landscape designs. I strive to design gardens that are not only aesthetically pleasing and low maintenance, but tailored to the homeowner's specific needs, site conditions, and the home's architectural features. My goal is to empower the homeowner to work with nature, instead of against it; to ensure their garden is a long-term investment and provides years of enjoyment.
